The first exhibition ceremony embarked on by the institution in 2017 came off on the 26th September, 2017 at Mӧvenpick Ambassador Hotel. The event was organised by HFC bank in conjunction with the Republic Bank. The objective of the program is to enable Ghanaian companies to market their local produce and network with the Caribbeans. The visitors showed much interest with the kind of production from Africa and Ecofurniture specifically.


Ecofurniture was proud to take part in the 15th International building And Property exhibition held at Mӧvenpick Hotel. The Theme for the exhibition was “Dream, Build, and Experience”. This year’s exhibition is focused on inviting private sector to partner government in bridging the housing gap.
The occasion was graced by various companies from the production and the retail sector
Ecofurniture showcased splendid product range.
The staff had a wonderful experience with customer and visits by the minister of works and housing, director of Image consult as well as the Board chairman of ICG.

Message from Chairman
The chairman for the occasion was the Minister for Works and Housing Samuel Atta Akyea.
In his reportage, the association of Ghana industries through the construction sector has come out with a draft policy to champion all the related issues in the country.
The vision of the industry is to promote indigenised globally competitive construction industry that promote excellence and support national development. The industry will want to see the exhibitors coming to manufacture their products in Ghana. He cited an example with an availability of vast land (over 100 acres) for investors to set up plant. He encouraged members to go into various productions. He further encouraged participant to network their presence by taking advantage of the exhibition. In his closing remarks he hinted that the AGI construction sector will be holding stake holders forum on the 8th December to recognise some outstanding stake holders in the industry who are able to pull resources to champion the growth of the industry.

Message by Exhibition Director
Myrlin Efua Houadjeto, CEO of Image Consortium Group took attendees through memory lane with the news of several collapse of buildings in 2002 causing dissatisfaction to clients. The organisation in the bid to curb such situation has been able to rekindle the focus on the construction sector by championing mantra “Let’s build It right, from foundation to Finishing” with the objective of creating a platform on which industry professional and dealers in building construction would interact to the benefit of the general consumer of their goods and services and to educate the general public through seminars.
This year’s exhibition is focused on inviting private sector to partner government in bridging the housing gap. She indicated that the greatest challenges faced by developers are four folds:
1. Land acquisition
2. Provision of Infrastructure and Utilities,
3. Access to funding
4. Over reliance on imported building materials.
In her closing remarks she hinted that, the group has created and commissioned an online portal for the marketing and sale of building materials to creates convenience to customers. It is called “buildersshoponline”. You choose, we deliver and you pay.

African Air show, 2017

The company was opportune to take part in the first ever “African airshow” held in Ghana.
The venue was Kotoka international airport. Ecofurniture was handed the responsibility of supplying the furniture for the VIP, some exhibitors and customers.
The programme was very colourful which experienced patronage of dignitaries from all continent.
It was an overwhelming experience from colleagues in the aviation industry.
